About our Panelists:

Regina Alhassan is Founder of ResearchPRO, Central Ohio’s leading prospect development partner.  With total dollars identified exceeding $1 billion, she has specialized in major gift campaigns for a spectrum of organizations including The Ohio State University, Ohio History Connection, I Am Boundless,  Columbus Academy and Heal Her Foundation.

Her 20 years of prospect research and management includes software development, end user training, leadership consulting, knowledge management, moves management, systems management and development operations. Regina participates in AFP’s Women’s Impact Initiative and chairs the Central Ohio chapter’s committee for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access. Previous industry leadership includes Board President of Ohio Prospect Research Network and Chapter Leader for Apra International.  A self-proclaimed data geek, Regina is also an artist, writer, philanthropist and TEDx Speaker.

Naimah Bilal is a Washington DC native, nonprofit leader, and fundraising executive.  Drawing inspiration from her prior career as an orchestral violinist and symphonic programming executive, Naimah has spearheaded wide-ranging fund and artistic development efforts for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra,

the Cincinnati Waldorf School, and the University of Cincinnati where she currently serves as Director of Foundation Board Relations. I this hybrid role she manages a spectrum of enterprise governance efforts and manages a major gift portfolio. Driven by a desire to elevate the experiences and narratives of black and brown leaders, Naimah launched “Bawse With A Cause”, the first podcast devoted exclusively to profiling the stories, perspectives, and insights of black and brown executives in the wider nonprofit sector. She is a student at the UC Lindner College of Business MBA program with a concentration in Economics.

Lauren Jones is a dynamic engagement strategist with more than eight years of campaign, design, marketing, fundraising and project-management experience. She’s a spirited community builder with a rich and robust background rooted in community-organizing, relationship and capacity building.

She is currently the Director of Development and Advancement for Lightship Capital. In this dynamic role Lauren serves to lead women, people of color, and other underestimated founders with a mission is to driving economic innovation and investment right here in the Midwest.

Rachel Kirley will soon begin a new phase of her career as the Director, Individual Giving for the San Francisco Symphony. Most recently, she served as the Development Director for the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.  In this capacity she oversaw all annual, capital and endowment fundraising efforts for the institution while overseeing a team of nine.

Previously, she served in a variety of fundraising positions with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. In her final position she acted as the Director of Individual Giving and Donor Services. In this position she oversaw individual giving as well as benefit fulfillment, volunteer management and donor acknowledgment. Prior to her time with the Symphony, Rachel resided in Portland, Oregon serving in various development roles for the Portland Opera. A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with over a decade of experience in the field, she will soon be relocating to the Bay Area.
