Presentation Description:

Fundraising continues to ranked as the #1 board performance needing improvement in BoardSource’s bi-annual national survey of nonprofit executives. Board members are often unprepared and overwhelmed by the prospect of raising money. This can frustrate board presidents, executive directors and development directors who are counting on board members to lead and support fundraising efforts.
During this workshop we will discuss how to create a shared understanding of board’s role in fundraising and how to change your board culture into one where board members are actively engaged and excited about fundraising. Executive Directors, Development Directors, Fundraising Staff and Board Members are encouraged to attend.
