While there\, she oversaw all staff development and talent retention and recruitment\, as well as mentoring and training programs; diversity\, equity and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives. \nPrior to her work at 3CDC\, Deana was VP of HR for Envision\, Cincinnati’s premier provider of services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. She also spent 10 years with Cincinnati non-profit Lighthouse Youth Services. Deana earned both a bachelor’s in human resources and a Master’s in Labor and Employment Relations from the University of Cincinnati. She also earned her law degree from the Chase College of Law in Kentucky. \nTaylor Brewer was a member of Class 39 at Leadership Cincinnati and currently serves on the Board of Directors for ArtsWave\, Findlay Market\, The Parks Foundation and Life Learning Center. \n \n\n\n\nDennis Kramer-Wine\, Co-Founder\, Mellotone Beer Project (brewery in planning) \nDennis Kramer-Wine is a professional with over twenty years of experience in operations\, management\, hiring and employee engagement\, having spent most of his time partnering with people with an entrepreneurial mindset. Dennis specializes in critical analysis of and building systems for organizations from startup to more than 300 employees. He is well respected at every level\, having sat on the boards of directors for the American Camp Association\, YMCA Camp Ernst\, the Ohio Craft Brewers Association\, the Brewers Association and various advisory boards\, and he has given various lectures at local and national conferences to showcase ideas and trends such as self distribution\, employee engagement\, retention\, the importance of growing leaders through training and the value of a strong and happy culture for greatest success. A strong believer in the power of collaborative thinking in the workplace\, Dennis regularly develops ways to honor employee successes by celebrating individual contributions. From his days as the Director of a non-profit program for disadvantaged kids\, Dennis knows that working hard and honoring commitments are crucial to a successful strategic outcome. He understands that organizations evolve and grow over time\, and it is important for people to grow along with that evolution. He knows there is no single approach that works for everyone\, so he constantly nourishes relationships to understand the best path forward and loves to motivate people around him through\nsynergistic team building or simply diving in to complete the task. Dennis enjoys an occasional Netflix binge or Cincinnati Reds game but can also be found on long mountain bike rides deep in the woods\, or in the kitchen exploring meals with his wife and teenage daughter. \n \n\n\n\nAmanda Shepherd\, Human Resources Generalist\, Shepherd Chemical Company \nAmanda was born and raised in Cincinnati\, but went out of state for her undergrad. She attended Hope College\, a small Christian liberal arts school in Holland\, Michigan. After spending two years trying to make it (and failing miserably) as a Chemistry major\, Amanda decided to lean into her strengths instead and graduated with a degree in Communication and Leadership. After college\, she moved to Grand Rapids\, Michigan and worked as a technical recruiter for 6 months and then left recruiting to work as an HR Coordinator for a small tech firm. After working there for 3 years\, Amanda moved back to Cincinnati (and back in with her parents… we’ve all been there) to get her MBA with a focus in HR from UC. After graduation Amanda joined her family’s business\, Shepherd Material Science\, as an HR Generalist. She has been there for 2 years now. She currently lives in Hyde Park with her best friend from undergrad and her very small\, very fluffy toy poodle\, Dottie Pippen.\n\n\n\n  \nRegister\n

In her role\, Bridgette works with leadership and frontline fundraisers to ensure each donor receives impactful stewardship.  She oversees the stewardship efforts including strategy and planning of impact reporting\, individual stewardship plans\, and stewardship event approaches.   \n\n\n\nWendy Kobler \n\nThroughout Wendy’s career in non-profit and higher education leadership\, she has turned around underperforming advancement divisions at several organizations. By generating impactful fundraising campaigns\, prospect solicitation messages\, and donor relationship strategies\, she is consistently able to establish new fundraising records and many “firsts.” Through developing a campus-wide culture of philanthropy and creating meaningful and lasting affiliations with stakeholders\, she has personally closed more than $115M in new gifts. Wendy’s educational background includes a PhD in Global Leadership at the Indiana Institute of Technology\, her Master of Science from Alabama A&M University\, and her Bachelor of Science in marketing is from the University of West Florida.  \n\n\n\nEmily Fay\n\nEmily Fay is currently the Vice President of Agency Advancement for 4C for Children where her role is to facilitate the overall financial makeup of 4C’s programmatic needs\, including private fundraising and government grants\, to ensure that resources are available to meet the needs and opportunities facing our child care community and the families they serve. Prior to 4C\, Emily served 8 years at United Way of Greater Cincinnati in several roles for the development team focused on corporate fundraising\, affinity groups\, and lastly as the Director of Individual Giving which included major gifts\, segmented donor groups and planned giving.   \n\n\n\nBethany Doverspike\, MBA\n\nBethany Doverspike is the Director of Development at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park\, overseeing all components of contributed revenue to both the annual and capital campaign. Prior to her role at the CSO\, she served as Vice President for Philanthropy at the North Carolina Symphony for more than five years.  Her total service to that organization was over nine years marked by progressive series of responsibilities that included fundraising as well as trustee management and governance. Ms. Lawson’s work in North Carolina was marked by successes in donor retention\, increased giving and securing the largest gifts in the organization’s history.  She previously worked in development at the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden and Opera Carolina.  A native of South Carolina\, Ms. Lawson received a degree in business economics from Wofford College. \n \nHAROLD BROWN\, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer\, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra; Board Chair\, School Board School; Board Chair\, Cradle 2 Career \nBrown\, an Oxford\, Ohio native and graduate of Harvard University\, has dedicated his career to roles within organizations that advance opportunities for underserved populations. Most recently he directed grant-making strategy as Vice President\, Strategy & Policy at Interact for Health and previously as Vice President of Community Strategies at the Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF). Prior to that\, Brown served for more than 16 years in various leadership capacities at KnowledgeWorks\, and began his career directing Multicultural Enrollment Services at Miami University. A strong believer in the importance of community service\, Brown serves on the boards of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati\, Cradle 2 Career Cincinnati\, Mt. St. Joseph University\, GreenLight Cincinnati\, School Board Schools\, and AchievePoint Career Academy. Brown resides in the Glendale/Springdale area with his wife\, Gwen; his son Christopher\, is a sophomore at The Ohio State University. After graduating magna cum laude from Colgate University\, Elisa was a teacher in rural Mississippi and in Washington\, DC. She then joined staff at Teach For America where she served in a number of roles on the recruitment team and the human assets team. Elisa’s belief that policy is a key lever for changing systems led her to run for school board\, and in November 2013\, she won election to a four-year term on the Cincinnati Public Schools Board of Education. In 2018\, Elisa founded School Board School\, where she is currently the Executive Director. School Board School brings together aspiring school board members and education advocates\, and equips them with the knowledge and network to drive systemic change. \n\n \n\nKAT STEINER\, CFRE\, Interim Chief Impact Officer\, YWCA \nWith more than 20 years of fundraising experience in the national nonprofit sector and in higher education advancement\, Kat Steiner does more than just ask people for money. She leads with integrity and is known for being a change agent\, strategic visionary\, and dynamic partner. She’s raised millions of dollars and served in leadership roles at the YWCA\, Meals on Wheels\, Girl Scouts\, the American Red Cross\, and within higher education. She currently is a board member with the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP)\,  PFLAG Cincinnati\, an advisory board member for Rosemary’s Babies Company\, and she is a YWCA Rising Star. Steiner received her Bachelor in Communication and Master of Higher Education Administration from Wright State University\, and then went on to earn the internationally recognized Certified Fund Raising Executive credential. \n\n\nThis event has been approved for 1.5 CFRE Credits.
