Melissa is co-founder and manager of the Nonprofit Research Collaborative\, which surveys charities twice a year about fundraising. \nShe volunteers on the AFP Research Council and for the Association of Philanthropic Counsel. She holds degrees from Reed College in Portland\, Oregon and the University of Pennsylvania. Melissa and her family live in California. After graduation\, James moved to the US where he worked in annual giving and marketing roles at Centre College and the University of Louisville. In 2014\, James moved to the University of Cincinnati Foundation where he serves as the Executive Director of Annual Giving and Marketing\, working with both the university and its academic healthcare system. In this role he is responsible for a complex fundraising strategy targeting gifts under $25\,000 as part of the comprehensive Next\, Now campaign. James shares ideas and resources for fundraising professionals at FundamentalAdvancement.com.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nScott Schuster\,  Vice President of Philanthropy at Cincinnati Museum Center (CMC) and President of the Cincinnati Museums Foundation \nScott is a results focused senior philanthropy and nonprofit executive with a proven history of building collaborative teams focused on high production. Scott is a devoted advocate of the power of education and lifelong learning. He is responsible for advancing and overseeing the division responsible for individual giving\, corporate and foundation relations and government relations. \nA career fundraiser\, he has seen first-hand the transformative impact of philanthropy in the communities he serves. Scott is passionate about creating authentic\, longstanding relationships with people and organizations who have a shared vision for the community. He is an innovative leader and an effective strategist who is passionate about utilizing data analytics to build processes and programs that are sustainable and focused on enhanced growth. Scott holds a Master of Science in Marketing\, a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing\, and two graduate certificates in corporate marketing and organizational leadership from the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business. \nScott has been a part of two billion dollar+ campaigns at the University of Cincinnati (UC) and University of Cincinnati Foundation where he played a key role in the planning\, funding\, and completion of a state of the art\, $120 million\, 225\,000 sq. ft. new business school (opened in 2019) in the heart of UC’s campus. She equips leaders with practical tools and resources to navigate difficult conversations\, foster an environment of ongoing trust and support\, and expand their capacity for learning new and different perspectives. \n\n\n\nElisha serves as a strategist for culture change initiatives helping to align leadership mindsets and behaviors with expectations and aspirations. Elisha resides in Fairfield\, Ohio with her husband\, Robert\, and her three daughters\, Aniyah (13)\, Melissa (8) and Rhyan (2). In her free time she enjoys traveling\, writing and learning about others’ lived experiences. She also serves on the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJamie Dinwiddie\, M.S.\, has over a decade of experience in Leadership Development and Diversity\, Equity\, and Inclusion (DEI). Currently\, she serves as a Regional Leadership Development Facilitator for telecommunications and mass media giant\, Charter Communications. In her role\, she is responsible for developing and implementing leadership strategies to improve employee engagement and performance. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJamie is also co-producer and co-host of the Unapologetically Speaking podcast\, a leadership development podcast tailored for women leaders. She is a thought-leader and Ph.D. candidate researching the influence of leadership practices on achievement gap outcomes in Ohio. In her free time\, she is a freelance talent management consultant\, coach\, and conference speaker. Jamie is passionate about DEI and believes “an individual has not started living until they can rise above the narrow confines of their individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity” –Martin Luther King.\n\n\n\n\nThis event has been submitted for 1.5 CFRE Credits. \n\n\n
