He works with area businesses and nonprofit organizations on getting their message out to the PBS audience through sponsorship (underwriting).  He sees his role as a “relationship builder”\, making connections which help everyone succeed.  Robert sold advertising for the Cincinnati Business Courier and the Spanish Yellow pages\, and sold corporate training for Miami University.  Prior to getting into sales\, Robert was a Lecturer at Northern Kentucky University\, where he taught various communication courses. Robert recently retired from his public service to Delhi Township after spending twenty four years on the Board of Zoning Appeals in the township. \n \nMike Canan is Senior Director of Local Strategy at WCPO. In that role\, he leads news coverage on TV\, on the web\, on streaming services and on social media. Before returning to WCPO\, he worked as senior director of content strategy for the E.W. Scripps Co. In that role\, he worked with 10 TV stations to develop and execute their content strategies. He previously served as editor in chief of WCPO.com\, the first local television station to launch a paid digital membership. Before coming to Cincinnati in 2014\, he spent 10 years at Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers\, including the last three as managing editor. \n \nKevin Reynolds\, WVXU. Kevin Reynolds has worked for more than 30 years in the non-profit sector\, in both fundraising and marketing. Following positions with the March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation\, Butler County United Way and leading Summerfair Cincinnati for nine years\, Kevin joined the marketing team at Cincinnati Public Radio (90.9 WGUC & 91.7 WVXU) in 2005. In the ever-morphing position of Community Relations Manager\, Kevin is responsible for public and media relations\, station events for members and the public\, media partnerships\, and produces the astronomy podcast\, Looking Up. \nThis event has been submitted for 1.5 CFRE Credits.

A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with over a decade of experience in the field\, she resides in Mariemont with her husband.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAndrew Polter\, Associate Development Director for the College of Arts & Sciences\, University of Cincinnati Foundation. Andrew Polter serves as Associate Director of Development for the University of Cincinnati Foundation. In this role\, he represents the College of Arts and Sciences\, and works with donors to build a culture of philanthropy at UC’s largest college. Andrew most recently served as Associate Director of Development at Eastern Kentucky University. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHe has additionally served in development roles at Miami University\, Boston Lyric Opera\, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra\, and the Chautauqua Institution. He earned his bachelor’s degree in music performance from Miami University and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). Her board work and fund raising efforts with \n\n\n\n\n\n\norganizations such as Playhouse in the Park\, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra\, Dress for Success\, 4C for Children and YWCA has made a significant and long-lasting effect in the community.  Her committee work spans over nearly a dozen different nonprofits.  She was a leader while in the Junior League of Cincinnati\, serving on several committees including being the Vice President of Community Outreach.  She was honored in 2005 as an Enquirer Woman of the Year and in 2011 as the Champions for Children Award by 4C for Children.  She is widely respected by all the organizations she has touched over the years.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVolunteer of the Year: Craig Young. Craig brings nearly four decades of success creating technology products and companies\, over two decades of engaged philanthropy and volunteering\, and over a decade of combining both of \n\n\n\n\n\n\nthose to create technology and programs encouraging\, inspiring and celebrating actions by many in the areas of volunteering\, sustainability and compassion.
