The Red Shoe Crew (RSC) is a group of young professionals who help care for critically ill children and their families by volunteering\, fundraising and being ambassadors for the mission of Cincinnati’s Ronald McDonald House.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFounded in 2013 and consisting of over 100 members\, the RSC organizes activities for families\, serves meals\, assists with fundraising and events\, and much more so that families with children receiving treatment at area hospitals will have the support they need. In addition\, the RSC provides opportunities for members to expand their personal and professional networks through social events. Their commitment to providing excellent service and social opportunities makes this group one of the top YP groups in the city. Since its inception\, the group has raised more than $40\,000 for Cincinnati’s Ronald McDonald House. Now more than 125 members strong\, the group hosts more than 25 social and service events each year.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nErik Smith\, President\, Habitat Young Professionals of Greater Cincinnati\nAs President of the Habitat Young Professionals\, Erik works together with the rest of the all-volunteer leadership team to organize and execute\n\n\n\nthe YP group’s ongoing event planning and fundraising goals. The Innovators Circle is an opportunity for rising philanthropists and emerging leaders in the community who are new to philanthropy and new to supporting Cincinnati Children’s.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStarted in 2016\, the Innovators Circle\, currently comprised of 20 members\, are given a unique opportunity to learn more about groundbreaking work happening at the medical center and join a collective giving group.
