While there\, she oversaw all staff development and talent retention and recruitment\, as well as mentoring and training programs; diversity\, equity and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives. \nPrior to her work at 3CDC\, Deana was VP of HR for Envision\, Cincinnati’s premier provider of services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. She also spent 10 years with Cincinnati non-profit Lighthouse Youth Services. Deana earned both a bachelor’s in human resources and a Master’s in Labor and Employment Relations from the University of Cincinnati. She also earned her law degree from the Chase College of Law in Kentucky. \nTaylor Brewer was a member of Class 39 at Leadership Cincinnati and currently serves on the Board of Directors for ArtsWave\, Findlay Market\, The Parks Foundation and Life Learning Center. \n \n\n\n\nDennis Kramer-Wine\, Co-Founder\, Mellotone Beer Project (brewery in planning) \nDennis Kramer-Wine is a professional with over twenty years of experience in operations\, management\, hiring and employee engagement\, having spent most of his time partnering with people with an entrepreneurial mindset. Dennis specializes in critical analysis of and building systems for organizations from startup to more than 300 employees. He is well respected at every level\, having sat on the boards of directors for the American Camp Association\, YMCA Camp Ernst\, the Ohio Craft Brewers Association\, the Brewers Association and various advisory boards\, and he has given various lectures at local and national conferences to showcase ideas and trends such as self distribution\, employee engagement\, retention\, the importance of growing leaders through training and the value of a strong and happy culture for greatest success. A strong believer in the power of collaborative thinking in the workplace\, Dennis regularly develops ways to honor employee successes by celebrating individual contributions. From his days as the Director of a non-profit program for disadvantaged kids\, Dennis knows that working hard and honoring commitments are crucial to a successful strategic outcome. He understands that organizations evolve and grow over time\, and it is important for people to grow along with that evolution. He knows there is no single approach that works for everyone\, so he constantly nourishes relationships to understand the best path forward and loves to motivate people around him through\nsynergistic team building or simply diving in to complete the task. Dennis enjoys an occasional Netflix binge or Cincinnati Reds game but can also be found on long mountain bike rides deep in the woods\, or in the kitchen exploring meals with his wife and teenage daughter. \n \n\n\n\nAmanda Shepherd\, Human Resources Generalist\, Shepherd Chemical Company \nAmanda was born and raised in Cincinnati\, but went out of state for her undergrad. She attended Hope College\, a small Christian liberal arts school in Holland\, Michigan. After spending two years trying to make it (and failing miserably) as a Chemistry major\, Amanda decided to lean into her strengths instead and graduated with a degree in Communication and Leadership. After college\, she moved to Grand Rapids\, Michigan and worked as a technical recruiter for 6 months and then left recruiting to work as an HR Coordinator for a small tech firm. After working there for 3 years\, Amanda moved back to Cincinnati (and back in with her parents… we’ve all been there) to get her MBA with a focus in HR from UC. After graduation Amanda joined her family’s business\, Shepherd Material Science\, as an HR Generalist. She has been there for 2 years now. She currently lives in Hyde Park with her best friend from undergrad and her very small\, very fluffy toy poodle\, Dottie Pippen.\n\n\n\n  \nRegister\n
