Light refreshments provided This event is open to AFP members and those looking to join. \nRegister\nA Young Professional (YP) is anyone under 40\, or in the fundraising industry less than 7 years. The AFP Cincinnati chapter’s YP membership is approximately 300+ fundraisers.\n\nThe UC Collegiate Chapter is for UC students who have an interest in learning about and/or working in the non-profit sector. If your organization is searching for student interns\, co-ops\, etc.\, we invite you to bring information to share with UC students!\n\nMeet the panelists:\nMike Weinberg\, Director of Volunteers\, Ronald McDonald\n \nMike Weinberg became the Director of Volunteers at Ronald McDonald House in August 2015\, joining them after an impressive career in marketing and public relations in which he applied his expertise in project management and creative writing to design and implement innovative campaigns. \n\n\n\nMike chaired several outside fundraising events that raised over $400\,000 to help care for Ronald McDonald’s guest families. Mike was a 2016 “Forty Under 40” award recipient and received his degree in Communications and Writing from Columbia College in Chicago.\n\n\n\nLauren Jones\, Inclusive Giving Advisor\, Greater Cincinnati Foundation \n\n\n\n\nLauren is a dynamic engagement professional with success in campaign management\, relationship and capacity building. She held previous leadership positions with the Women’s Fund\, Public Allies\, YWCA\, United Way\, and Organizing for America.\n\n\n\nAshlie Lyons\, Community Engagement Officer\, Bethesda Foundation \n\n\n\n\nAs the Community Engagement Manager for the Bethesda Foundation\, Ashlie supports all levels of large-scale projects\, including a robust Corporate Partnership Program\, communication and stewardship strategies and leads the Events & Communications team.As the Community Engagement Manager for the Bethesda Foundation\, Ashlie supports all levels of large-scale projects\, including a robust Corporate\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs a team\, the Foundation develops and implements strategies to engage loyal donors and encourage meaningful giving for Bethesda Hospitals\, Hospice of Cincinnati\, and Fernside: A Center for Grieving Children.\n\n\n\nEmily Eskridge\, Chief Financial Officer\, Community Matters / Education Matters \n\n\n\n\nEmily worked in the nonprofit sector for 6 years before joining the team at Education Matters in 2008. Her belief in complete transparency in the non-profit sector makes her one of the strongest professionals in non-profit finance.\n\n\n\n
