DESCRIPTION:Utilizing Your Student Advancement Program\nfor better student and alumni engagement \nEngaging students early in their college career is crucial to an advancement plan. Creating these relationships early has shown increased long-term benefits. Student advancement programs have taken on numerous shapes\, sizes and responsibilities throughout the years. Moragne-Scott joined Northern Kentucky University in 2020 as the Associate Director of Alumni Engagement. In this role\, she manages strategic events and partnerships for the NKU Alumni Association. Prior to joining NKU\, she led internal communications and managed external sponsorships and outreach initiatives at United Way of Greater Cincinnati. \nIn 2011\, Olivia received her B.A. in Public Relations with a concentration in Marketing from Northern Kentucky University where she served as president of the Black Women’s Organization and supported several campus organizations and initiatives. \nOlivia is a purpose driven leader in her community. Her greatest strength is her ability to connect and build meaningful relationships. In 2018\, she was selected for Cincy Next (Class 5)\, a Cincinnati Chamber leadership program. \nShe is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority\, Incorporated (Phi Psi Omega Chapter)\, Urban League Young Professionals of Greater Southwestern Ohio and serves as a board member for Cincinnati’s Young Professional’s Choral Collective. \nOlivia is from Cincinnati\, OH and lives with her new husband\, Bryan. In addition to spending time with family and friends\, she enjoys the arts\, baking and traveling. \nCatherine Jensen is a junior Nursing major and Psychology minor student at Northern Kentucky University. She currently serves as the Student Development Assistant in the office of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving where she supports the NKU Alumni Association efforts. In 2021\, Catherine was voted to serve as the president of the NKU Student Alumni Council – a student organization on campus that prioritizes the connection between students and alumni. In addition to excelling in her classes and student organizations\, she is also a Patient Care Assistant at The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati\, Ohio.
