2020 COVID-19 Membership Scholarship Application
We’re here for you. Our chapter believes that hard times should not compromise your professional development and opportunity to engage in AFP. That is why we are proud to announce 15 additional 2020 membership scholarships.
This special scholarship fund was established in light of the impact of the pandemic on the fundraising industry. With the likelihood of a recession upon us many organizations are reducing or cutting professional development budgets, including membership in professional organizations such as AFP. In light of this, the Greater Cincinnati AFP Chapter has created a fund to sponsor 15 scholarships to be awarded in 2020 for a one year membership in AFP. These scholarships are non-renewable and will be awarded based on need of the applicant. Prior to submitting this application the CEO of your organizations will be required to sign the application to confirm they are aware of this application and will be supportive of your participation in the Chapter.
Should you be awarded one of these scholarships, a requirement of receipt is that you volunteer with an AFP Board Committee for the entire year of your scholarship. There are many ways to participate, and someone on the Board will reach out to you upon receipt of your funds to discuss options.
In addition to this application please provide a cover letter sharing details about you and your need for this scholarship as well as a head shot for promotional purposes.
