Founders Circle, a new initiative dedicated to expanding
scholarships for current members facing financial barriers and
for prospective members who lack the resources to join.
As we look ahead to our 50th anniversary in 2027, this effort is especially meaningful: it is chaired by the 1995 past president John Olberding, whose leadership continues a family legacy of service which began when his father also served as a Founder and Chapter President. The Olberding Founder’s Circle will honor that legacy by ensuring access to membership and education for generations of fundraising leaders to come.

JUST A FEW OF OUR RECENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

  • Receiving our Ten Star Gold and IDEA Champion status for multiple consecutive years.

  • Maintaining representation on AFP global boards as well as at AFP conferences through presentations.

  • Appointing Ken Coggeshall as our first ever Executive Director.

  • Distributing over $28,000 dollars in scholarships over the last five years.

  • Attracting and retaining a diverse array of members which represent all stages of careers, spanning from less than five years to over 40!
