    Committee Descriptions:
    Affinity Groups Committee - The Affinity Groups Committee looks to integrate and develop the voice of all Emerging Leaders and other Affinity Groups across the Greater Cincinnati chapter.

    Ethics - The Ethics Committee is committed to enhancing the AFP Cincinnati Chapter’s role in promoting ethical practices in all aspects of philanthropy.

    IDEA - Recruits new members from diverse backgrounds; establishes a program for involvement in the chapter, including educational opportunities; ensures accessibility at chapter events; organizes annual chapter event to promote diversity.

    Marketing - Publicizes chapter events to social media and chapter newsletter; provides photography for membership directory, newsletter and archives.

    Membership - Membership is the chapter’s assurance of continuing operation and continued success in serving the needs of fundraising professionals and elevating the status of the profession. Each individual on the Membership Committee should be deeply committed to the vision of growing our chapter and providing positive engagement points for our members.

    National Philanthropy Day - Coordinates annual celebratory luncheon that recognizes and pays tribute to people active in the philanthropic community.

    Peer Learning Committee - Manages both the cohort program and one-on-one mentorship program, connecting members through meaningful professional relationships.

    Professional Development - Coordinates all educational opportunities including Fundamentals of Fundraising and the Networking and Knowledge Breakfast Monthly Meetings.

    Resource Development - Responsible for growing revenue for the Cincinnati chapter of AFP by securing contributed income from diverse sources, including grants, donations, and sponsorships.
