Fundraising Manager

The Fundraising Manager ensures all fundraising initiatives are met or exceeded. The Fundraising Manager is responsible for developing and executing fundraising plans in collaboration with the director of development and key leadership. The fundraising manager closely monitors results from efforts and creatively suggests adjustments to ensure goals are met or exceeded.  The fundraising manager interacts with potential donors through strategic communications that may include events, email, phone, and in-person meetings as well as grant writing.


  • Ensure development goals are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and manage campaigns to attract new individual and corporate donors (identification, research, solicitation, cultivation, engagement, and record-keeping).
  • Steward existing donors using best practices and moves management process.
  • Evaluate existing donors alerting Director of Development of major gift potential.
  • Manage and grow donor communications for fundraising efforts & campaigns (traditional and social media).
  • Manage donor CRM.
  • Cultivate new fundraising opportunities including events and support individual donor initiatives.
  • Leading metrics, KPIs, and reporting for all campaigns.
  • Ensure proper donation acknowledgements are issued in a timely manner through the donor management system.
  • Maintain Franciscan Media’s development-focused website pages and social media accounts.
  • Oversee gift acknowledgements.
  • Oversee sponsorship program and processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  1. At least three years as a professional fundraiser.
  2. Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Self-starter, highly organized and creative thinker.
  4. Remote work experience.
  5. Collaborative and work well within remote team environment.
  6. Experience and proficiency and ability to learn new digital tools.
  7. CRM experience, HubSpot and Virtuous experience a plus.
  8. Digital design experience a plus.
  9. Social advertising proficiency and analytics.
  10. Google and SEO analytic proficiency and experience.
  11. Print advertising experience.
  12. MS Office suite proficiency.
  13. Knowledge of Franciscan spirituality and alignment with mission to share God’s love through thoughtful communications in the spirit of St. Francis.
  14. Comfortable managing donor and vendor relationships.
