As Corporate Engagement Manager at United Way of Greater Cincinnati, you will drive revenue growth, stakeholder engagement, and brand awareness with corporate partners. This role involves acquiring new business by leveraging United Way’s products (Workplace Campaign, Corporate Contributions, Sponsorships, Volunteerism, and Employee Engagement) and corporate lead generation. A key focus of this role is supporting and advancing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, particularly among mid-tier and newly engaged companies, by helping them develop and implement meaningful community impact strategies. You will also manage relationships with a portfolio of corporate accounts, ensuring sustained engagement and impact. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility.
GENERAL FUNCTION:
As a Corporate Engagement Manager at United Way of Greater Cincinnati, you will drive revenue growth, stakeholder engagement, and brand awareness with corporate partners. This role involves acquiring new business by leveraging United Way’s products (Workplace Campaign, Corporate Contributions, Sponsorships, Volunteerism, and Employee Engagement) and corporate lead generation. A key focus of this role is supporting and advancing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, particularly among mid-tier and newly engaged companies, by helping them develop and implement meaningful community impact strategies. You will also manage relationships with a portfolio of corporate accounts, ensuring sustained engagement and impact. This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities through United Way’s corporate engagement offerings.
- Develop and implement corporate engagement and CSR strategies to increase giving, sponsorships, volunteerism, and advocacy, especially for mid-tier and new business partners.
- Manage workplace campaigns, sponsorships, and employee engagement initiatives to drive revenue and impact.
- Support companies in aligning their social impact goals with United Way initiatives.
- Oversee key workplace campaign activities, including speaker requests and impact fairs.
- Lead corporate engagement projects such as Campaign Jumpstart and other initiatives.
- Establish growth goals for assigned accounts and develop strategic plans. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners of all sizes.
- Deliver United Way messaging through presentations and stakeholder engagements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Five years of experience in corporate affairs, CSR, fundraising, sales, or public relations preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Excellent public speaking, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to United Way’s mission and relationship-building approach.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Office environment with occasional local travel, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Reliable personal transportation required.
SALARY: $65,000 plus a competitive benefits package
