  • IDEA

    Recruits new members from diverse backgrounds; establishes a program for involvement in the chapter, including educational opportunities; ensures accessibility at chapter events; organizes annual chapter event to promote diversity.

  • Resource Development

    Responsible for growing revenue for the Cincinnati chapter of AFP by securing contributed income from diverse sources, including grants, donations, and sponsorships. This committee collaborates with the Executive Director to create and implement a comprehensive fundraising plan and ensures its success. Additionally, the committee works to clearly communicate the chapter’s impact to all constituents and audiences, strengthening support and engagement across the organization.

  • Treasurer

    Do you love a good spreadsheet, appreciate the satisfaction of balanced books, or simply enjoy keeping things organized? As Treasurer, you’ll help ensure our chapter remains financially strong and sustainable for years to come.  If you’re detail-oriented, curious, and enjoy making sense of numbers, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work for a cause you already care about.

  • Professional Development

    Coordinates all educational opportunities, including virtual Webinars, Fundamentals of Fundraising classes, Networking and Knowledge events, Mentoring program, Committee on Alumni Relations Professionals, CFRE courses, and Cohorts.

  • Marketing

    Publicizes chapter events to media, chapter newsletter and website calendar; provides photography for membership directory, newsletter and archives.

  • National Philanthropy Day

    Coordinates annual celebratory event that recognizes and pays tribute to people active in the philanthropic community. This fundraising event recognizes local nonprofit donors and volunteers as well as presents awards in the following categories: Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year (individual, corporation or foundation), Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy or Outstanding Volunteer of the Year.
