Join Suzy Dorward, National Philanthropy Day’s 2021 Lifetime Achievement in Fundraising award recipient, for a discussion about the power of effective storytelling in fundraising. Learn how to empower your board and volunteers, inspire donors and prospects, and build better fundraising relationships with a story. Suzy shares her successful best practices focused on creating and tailoring a compelling story.

More about our Speaker:

Suzy Dorward has spent her career in service to several local organizations for over 40 years. Dorward graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a business degree and a masters in public affairs. She began working at the St. Rita School for the Deaf coordinating public relations and special events and continued to work with organizations like the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, ArtsWave (formerly Fine Arts Fund), Cincinnati Parks Foundation, Mercy Health Foundation, and LaSoupe. Dorward recently retired and is estimated to have raised more than $155 million for various Cincinnati organizations over the course of her career.
