About the Speaker:

Suzanne Smith, MBA, suzanne@socialimpactarchitects.comis Founder and CEO of the Social Impact Architects, a registered Benefit Corporation. She is excited to return to Cincinnati, her home-away-from-home, where she enjoyed her time as Co-Founder and Founding CEO of Flywheel and Executive Director of the Leadership Council.

She has a deep belief that everyone is a changemaker and in 2009, founded Social Impact Architects to reshape the business of social change. She combines her MBA know-how with nearly three decades of grassroots experience as a social innovator to serve all dimensions of the social sector (e.g., nonprofit, government, foundations and corporate social responsibility leads at for-profits) as a consultant, advisor and thought partner.

Known for her relatable style and practical tips, she is highly sought-after public speaker at conferences nationwide. Suzanne is also the author of Social TrendSpotter (@socialtrendspot), one of the sector’s top blogs according to the Huffington Post, and is frequently asked to share her expertise by regional and national media. She has published articles in Forbes, Fast Company, Chronicle of Philanthropy, Nonprofit Business Advisor, Upstart and Grantmakers in Health. Suzanne holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and serves as an adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University and The University of Texas at Arlington.
